FitTennis Challenge

We are happy to announce a new tennis-fitness-nutrition event concept that will change the way you see all three of them

What?

Structure

  • 30 min of fitness, divided in different parts of the training that consists of a proper warm up, proper cool down, 5 all-around exercises, and 2 fitness challenges;
  • 10 min of nutrition, in which we discuss 10 basic knowledge facts that you may or may not know about nutrition. This takes place in 10 very interactive breaks;
  • 80 min of tennis, going through the technical basics, specific active drills for that training and 2 different tennis challenges.

Results

All the results of the 4 challenges are being kept and stored, and you are be able to check them on my website in your profile.

League

You are a part a league and a ranking according to your yearly performances in the FTC (Fitness Tennis Challenge).
Both days of the FitTennis Challenge weekend are similar, so it gives you the chance to do better than the previous day.

Levels

The FTC is for everybody, no matter the tennis and fitness level. But when you sign in we would like you to provide the information about your level.

Fitness
  1. Very little daily movement (groceries, under 2000 daily steps)
  2. Basic daily movement (groceries, travel to work and 1 training a week)
  3. Average daily movement (3 moderate fitness trainings a week)
  4. Active life (3 to 5 active sport sessions)
  5. Extremely active life (semi-pro, more than 5 active trainings a week)
Tennis
  1. Beginner
  2. Have played less than 1 year
  3. Have played between 1 and 5 years (either training or playing with family and friends)
  4. Have played 5 to 10 years (training in a group or with a coach at a higher level)
  5. Have played more than 10 years in a highly competitive environment

Please when making the registration, submit which level are you (approximately) from both fields so you get assigned to the appropriate training group.

Where?

The event is taking place in Talin Tenniskeskus.

Additional info

You can join either one day only, or both days. You can also come with friends and family that can participate with you or just support you during the challenge.
And remember, the most important fact is to have fun and challenge yourself in a safe and healthy environment.
